Sony/Meg artist Que Williams is back"

There is a noticeable difference between today’s R&B and the music of the past. Once upon a time, great vocalists like Michael, Gerald, Luther and Keith had passion in their music. They had romance. The music made love. I ran across Sony/MEG artist Que Williams and I haven't looked back since. Bringing a new flavor to R & B, Que adds in neo-soul, trap and eclectic tunes to his music. ... Givenchy Men’s RTW Fall 2012

Posted on by Icy Twan in LATEST | Comments Off on Givenchy Men’s RTW Fall 2012

Givenchy Mens RTW Fall 2012. Tailoring is pretty huge with the garments. Kanye West also was in attendance front row as he should be.   The tailoring was black and red and chic all over; the outerwear made distinctive via trompe l’oeil layers, such as peacoatlike vests over leather jacket. The kilts and leather leggings I am not a big fan of but there will be somone who can pull off the trend.

This year at the 69th Annual 2012 Golden Globes the fashion was chic, gentle and romantic! Mermaid gowns, structural silhouettes and intricate placement of embellishments were incorporated in the night’s main key looks. All the big stars of film and television came out to claim the awards in role-play—and well as in fashion. To brief, The Artist, which led the film category nominations with six nominations, took home best motion picture comedy or musical, star Jean Dujardin was awarded the best acting award and the film also won for best original score. The Descendants (with five nominations) won for best motion picture drama and the film’s George Clooney for best acting, while Octavia Spencer brought in The Help’s only win (it also had five nominations) with best supporting actress in a motion picture. Then there are nominations for the best and worst dressed—here are my picks for the categories:

Best Dressed:
Charlize Theron in Dior Couture
Angelina Jolie in Gucci
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoj

Worst Dressed:
Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci
Elle MacPherson in Zac Posen
Sarah Michelle Gellar in Monique Lhuillier

From full length gowns to your more casual daywear Jason Wu has applied versatility for his Pre-Fall 2012 runway collection and I love it! Wu has incorporated your richest of hues with a consistency of clean lines and your finest silk & chiffon. Clean craftsmanship plays a major part in the application of Wu’s collection. Color, fabric and materials used connects all pieces magically!’

This collection is bold, sexy and intricate. Pure Opulence. With the newness that Jason Wu offers with this collection builds a platform of timeless designs that I’ve never seen before. Every piece is different and innovative. Wu has made fashion strong and unexpected for his Pre-Fall 2012 runway collection. The tone of every garment is speaks high-aesthetic volumes!! The choice of colors, the elegant silhouettes and ultra-chic detailed designs all combined delivers an incredible execution.

A great association. A representation of what every collection should include. As simple as each piece looks—the deliverance is still yet powerful. Jason Wu definitely has me mesmerized with this collection. From the cuts to the color choice has all allowed this collection to be exceptional. Every piece will remain valid for years to come at any event!! I’m inspired.

Milan Fashion Week Recap

Gucci’s handsome collection that channeled poets, painters and heroes on horseback. Creative director Frida Giannini said that while her mind was on the 19th century, she was careful to mix the flower prints, velvets, jacquards, and tapestrylike weaves in a contemporary way.  I love the grunge preppy look.  Gucci accessories is always my favorite.

Burberry keeps us at surprise, the  natty patterns, tailored suits with the cropped coats with blazers coming out. The creative officer Christopher Bailey said he wanted to marry British city and country dressing for a “polite and charming” collection that felt traditional, but also approachable and familiar and how his inspiration came about with this collection . Chunky sweaters always is a plus when layering. The prints on the bottom of trench jacket is genius.

Prada always gives us a new trend that changes the menswear world . The designer described the collection as a riff on powerful men, and how fashion can telegraph authority, might or supremacy. “Clothing is also a tool of power and a way to express male vanity,” she said. Prada set a military tone for Fall/Winter which is a great idea. Sunny colors and cheerful prints is always a great idea for the Fall!

Missoni prints always takes the cake. The went for a mod look this collection, knitted wool coats, soft tweed pants and cardigan jackets in an earthy color palette for the season. When mixing patterns this would be a great collection to pull clothing from.
