“You know, they ask me questions. Just an example: ‘What do you wear to bed? A pajama top? The bottoms of the pajamas? A nightgown?’ So I said: ‘Chanel No.5′, because it’s the truth,” said Monroe in the 1960 recording. “And yet, I don’t want to say ‘nude’. But it’s the truth!”
Oh, Marilyn still stealing our hearts.
We’re all obsessed with with leather and SINGER22 today we have something special some tips on wearing leather from SINGER22 CEO, Jon Singer:
1. Pick a few leather pieces that will always be in style: A classic leather jacket is always a key for fall and winter styles. Easy to combine with just about any look, the leather jacket can add edge to any dress and outfit. Pair with boots and skinny jeans and your ready for anything this fall.
2. Do not over do it: Leather when paired with multiple pieces can turn into a Halloween costume quickly. Choose one statement piece per outfit. Never fear a leather top or skirt for any occasion. It works for days at the office and evenings on the town.
3. Use Leather to Accessorize: If you fear looking too biker chic, choose leather as a statement accessory. Leather boots or gloves are great for the fall. You can even try a leather headband or cuff to start incorporating the fabric into your wardrobe without a full commitment.
4. Contrast Leather with a softer fabric: To keep your look trendy and not as edgy, pair any leather piece with a softer fabric such as cotton or silk. To wear leather at work, try pairing with a silk blouse and soft blazer to still look trendy without breaking dress code policy.
