Damon Wayans Jr. comes from a strong lineage of comedic greats. In addition to the successful show being in its third season, the actor posed for the November issue of GQ modeling the season’s hottest color, yellow.

Looking very icey, he posed in five outfits from designers Marc Jacobs, J. Crew, Dsquared2, Ledbury, Coach and many more. Looking all-American and actually, kind of hot, we’re definitely planning on tuning in tonight.

Big Sean’s style game has definitely evolved over the past few years, and even soared past the likes of Kanye who we had name dropped a few years prior.   Now, he’s featured in this month’s GQ Magazine, and instead of wearing the typical streetwear found in most men’s wardrobes, he’s showing guy’s how to rock  ‘field vests’, suit, tie and blazer combinations. Through his photo spread, he proves that you don’t have to lose your sense of style during ‘cuffing season.’

She has a preppy style with rock star style is extremely hard, but somehow, Santigold has done it. The Philadelphia-born rapper/singer was at the Budweiser Made In America Festival at Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Sunday. Wearing a unique knitted collared shirt, black shorts, oversize sunglasses and gold flats she dressed smartly for the wild event. Not sure who the huge dog belongs to…but everything else in these pics make perfect fashion sense.

Exclusive Interview with Dapper Gent Mo Anwar

Posted on by Icy Twan in LATEST, U B KILLIN' EM | Comments Off on Exclusive Interview with Dapper Gent Mo Anwar

There are many people who attend fashion weeks in Milan and Paris and nobody knows who they are but love there Style. Mo Anwar is one of them candidates in the Amsterdam was able to get an exclusive interview with him check it out below.

What made you wanna be in the fashion industry and how did you start?

I think it started at a young age. I always loved clothes but at that time I didnt knew that I could make a living out of it. On some point i didnt believe in fashion at all. I thought being a doctor or a lawyer are the jobs to make good money and fashion was just a key for looking good.

I first started as an assistant of the creative director of Avantgarde (Dutch Fashion magazine). I did that for a whole year. After that I wanted to combine my creative skills with my communication skills so I ended up as a publicist at Fuse Communication. There we represent fashion labels such as: Prada eyewear, Dolce & Gabbana eyewear, Ray-Ban, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, FALKE and much more. Next to my job at Fuse i’m also a freelance fashion editor for The Big Black Book.

2. How is it working at The Big Black Book?
It’s a lovely job and gives me a lot of opportunities, like going to the shows in Paris and Milan and also interviewing and meeting a lot of talented people.

3. What does fashion give back to you?

Satisfaction. If you really, really love fashion you will understand my answer.

  1. Do you have any favorite designers?

I don’t have one specifically. Of course i love Queen Miuccia Prada, she always gets it! I also like Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, Haider Ackerman, Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy and I love what Nicolas Ghesquière is doing for Balenciaga. I love to mix their collection- items’s with vintage pieces. In my opinion that’s really the essence of style.

5. Could you give any advice to people who are like you trying to break in the industry?

Courrage is key! For example be willing to invest in yourself. Take internships. Let people notice you. People think that succes just falls out of the sky. That is a dream, its not reality.

Kelly Cutrone once said to me be friends with your dream bosses assistant. You’d be suprised how many assistants are looking for a good intern to help them out.

Most important of all; dont be a quitter! If you fall down once, be to prepared to fall again and again and again. Just keep in mind if you want something you can have it! You just have to work for it.

6. Do you have any goals?

I would love to eat more healthier and I would also like to travel more often to see the world. Other then that i couldn’t wish for more. I have my health, my friends, my familly and great jobs. So i guess my goal would be to keep everything how it is and dont mess it up!
