Sony/Meg artist Que Williams is back"

There is a noticeable difference between today’s R&B and the music of the past. Once upon a time, great vocalists like Michael, Gerald, Luther and Keith had passion in their music. They had romance. The music made love. I ran across Sony/MEG artist Que Williams and I haven't looked back since. Bringing a new flavor to R & B, Que adds in neo-soul, trap and eclectic tunes to his music. ... FRONT ROW REVIEW Givenchy Haute Couture SS 2012

Posted on by Icy Twan in LATEST | Comments Off on FRONT ROW REVIEW Givenchy Haute Couture SS 2012

The Haute-est of haute couture has been shaping the Paris all week. Whereas on day two of the shows Givenchy, the modest of the shows, has presented extraordinaire craftsmanship of— giant art-deco crystal earrings that danced alongside studded leather jackets and 1930’s nubuck crocodile skin dresses and long bleached and dyed tulle dresses. Pieces were presented on mannequins divided in three 18th century showrooms, just like the historic artifacts in the Louvre museum, this way the 10 pieces design aesthetics could be studied and viewed, persay fashionably appreciated. One floor-length dress looked conventional enough, until it was opened to reveal studs all over the inside. It has apparently become the most-wanted piece of the collection.

Riccardo Tisci said, “his two inspirations this season were the 1927 Fritz Lang movie Metropolis and the theme music from a more obscure Russian film, 1924’s Aelita: Queen of Mars.” A first look at this collection seems misleading, but at a second second look you can see where he was only working to establish a timeless identity—and what a very unique identity it is! This collection is nothing but greatness.Take a look at the intricate pieces of Givenchy Haute Couture S/S 2012.

Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2012

Dean and Dan sure know how to mix fabrics in a nice way. The twins imaginations are very wise. The high school themed show just made me wish I had all this clothing in 2009. However, about the approach to the collection, which for the main part remained resolutely Dsquared2, with its distressed low-rise denim, fitted biker jackets and collegiate sweatshirts. The shaggy mohair and angora Fair Isle sweaters and great tailoring elements, like the tweed car coat, fitted suits and clean-cut camel coat which makes you want to throw out all your fall clothing and make room for the whole collection.

The fun pop rapper swears by them and even wonders how she wore the same hairstyle every day before she was turned on to her wig affair.I was always inspired by people who did wild stuff but didn’t always have the balls to do it myself. Givenchy Men’s RTW Fall 2012

Posted on by Icy Twan in LATEST | Comments Off on Givenchy Men’s RTW Fall 2012

Givenchy Mens RTW Fall 2012. Tailoring is pretty huge with the garments. Kanye West also was in attendance front row as he should be.   The tailoring was black and red and chic all over; the outerwear made distinctive via trompe l’oeil layers, such as peacoatlike vests over leather jacket. The kilts and leather leggings I am not a big fan of but there will be somone who can pull off the trend.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 was very shocking. s Kim Jones, men’s studio and style director at Vuitton, made sure that we saw luxury at its finest The inspiration forVuitton collection was   “masculine, heroic figures” that attend different occasions around the world. I love that they are making sure us men have more accessories on the market . My favorite are the bomber jackets and trenches. Check out some more of my favorites below.

Golden Globes

Posted on by Icy Twan in LATEST | Comments Off on Golden Globes

This year at the 69th Annual 2012 Golden Globes the fashion was chic, gentle and romantic! Mermaid gowns, structural silhouettes and intricate placement of embellishments were incorporated in the night’s main key looks. All the big stars of film and television came out to claim the awards in role-play—and well as in fashion. To brief, The Artist, which led the film category nominations with six nominations, took home best motion picture comedy or musical, star Jean Dujardin was awarded the best acting award and the film also won for best original score. The Descendants (with five nominations) won for best motion picture drama and the film’s George Clooney for best acting, while Octavia Spencer brought in The Help’s only win (it also had five nominations) with best supporting actress in a motion picture. Then there are nominations for the best and worst dressed—here are my picks for the categories:

Best Dressed:
Charlize Theron in Dior Couture
Angelina Jolie in Gucci
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoj

Worst Dressed:
Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci
Elle MacPherson in Zac Posen
Sarah Michelle Gellar in Monique Lhuillier
