Sony/Meg artist Que Williams is back"

There is a noticeable difference between today’s R&B and the music of the past. Once upon a time, great vocalists like Michael, Gerald, Luther and Keith had passion in their music. They had romance. The music made love. I ran across Sony/MEG artist Que Williams and I haven't looked back since. Bringing a new flavor to R & B, Que adds in neo-soul, trap and eclectic tunes to his music. ... Beyoncé may have gotten to serenade the First Couple at the Inaugural Ball in 2009, but on Monday she got a plum promotion: singer of the National Anthem at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration.
For the once-in-a-lifetime event, Beyoncé stepped up her fashion game like no other. She and her husband, Jay-Z, stepped out looking like the American royalty they are: Bey stunned in a long black dress with a swirling black floral pattern, topped off with a long black coat. Her tangerine nail polish popped against emerald jewelry and her hair… well, we’ve never seen such bouncy locks.
Hova, of course, was no slouch himself in the fashion department. His light blue shirt and tie popped against his sleek gray suit and he had a furry black coat casually draped over his arm. Oh, and he wore some stunna shades. Obviously.
Seriously, this couple takes our breath away. Check out photos of Beyoncé and Jay at the 2013 Inauguration below. Are you loving Bey’s outfit as much as we are?
UPDATE: Beyoncé’s stylist Ty Hunter confirms to us that Bey is wearing a Pucci dress, a Christian Dior coat and Lorraine Schwartz emeralds.
UPDATE II: Jay-Z was rocking a Tom Ford suit.v

Nasir Jones talks about his style

Before he was Half Man, Half Amazing, he was Nasir Jones, the legendary Nas was just another kid growing up on the block in Queensbridge with dreams of one day taking over New York City.

We hit the Hennessy Wild Rabbit tasting event at R Lounge in Times Square to ask God’s Son a simple question: When he was growing up, what was the one piece of clothing that he had to buy as soon as he could afford it? His answer surprised us. Hint: it’s not jewelry, though he bought a lot of that, too.

He also talked frankly with Hot 97′s Miss Info about his style through the ’90s, particularly in his infamous 1999 music video for “Hate Me Now” with Diddy.

You can get Nas’ latest album Life Is Good at iTunes for $14.99 USD, or learn more about the Wild Rabbit
campaign at its website, here.

Pringle of Scotland 2013 collection

The Pringle of Scotland collection was a mix of a dark to bright color palate. The garments had a military feel to them, very straight structured but they also had a since of fluidity with the layering of the jackets and the use of color contrasts. 2013 is shaping up to be the year of menswear influencing womenswear and womenswear influencing menswear. On a personal level I love the since of androgyny in the collections and streetwear this year

Trend Men’s Color Block Shoes

Posted on by Icy Twan in LATEST | Comments Off on Trend Men’s Color Block Shoes

A/w 13-14 men’s shoes are getting a color blocked, first we saw these type of shoes done a season or so ago by Prada (LOVED them btw) and now here it is redone and looking just as amazing

Another trend in men’s footwear are slid in shoes. They have become increasingly more chic in appearance therefore more acceptable in the high fashion world. Styling tip for my guys: When wearing slid in shoes with(out) socks be very aware of the cut and length of your pant. A straight leg pant with little to no slouch is ideal, it may differ depending on your personal style.

They say once you turn a good girl bad, she’s gone forever. Well, self-proclaimed bad girl Rihanna never fails to live up to her name. She graces revealed seven spicy Complex covers in celebration of her seventh studio album, Unapologetic. Photographed by Zoe McConnell, she dishes about light-hearted topics like getting the best Instagram selfie award to more interesting ones such as the inside scoop on her 777 Tour and her collaboration with Chris Brown.

On Unapologetic: “I held back before. I didn’t show a lot of myself. I was very guarded,” she says. “I needed to be open and free and fearless. Basically say, ‘Fawk it.’ What’s the worst that can happen? They’ll hate me? They’ve done that before.”

On collaborating with Chris Brown on the “Birthday Cake” remix: “It’s all about the music. Everything else doesn’t even play a part in the studio.” “The-Dream didn’t write it for them as a duet. Jay-Z and I were in the car together listening to the song, and we thought it would be a great duet. It sounds dope. It feels good. That’s how Chris ended up on the song.”
