TINIE TEMPAH: EPITOME OF NEW SCHOOL FASHION AND STYLE

Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu Jr. better known to his fans as Tinie Tempah is a November 1st 1988 South-London Born rapper and fashion icon to many he has increasingly become a house hold name amongst his peers and fans alike because of his great music and impeccable fashion sense which seems to be winning him some awards like the Man Of The Year 2012 GQ Awards in the best solo hip-hop artist category.

’Pass Out’ which was his first single from Parlophone Recordings went straight to number one after its release in 2010 February. The rapper has performed on the same stage as Rihanna during her tour to the United Kingdom and also Snopp Dogg in Glastonbury during his tour to the United Kingdom,Tinie also got the honorary chance to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics along side his favorite singer Emeil which he terms as a ‘VERY SPECIAL MOMENT’ . Tinie Tempah has been able incorporate the Street meets nerdy kind of style to most of his styling which has not failed him. He’s one part ’80s throwback (reinterpreted through the eyes of a new generation that didn’t live through the tragedy of stonewashing and shoulder pads), one part geek chic, and 100% style noteworthy as in his music, Tinie Tempah likes to mix a huge variety of influences to find something new and fresh that has not been done by anyone or as a throwback kind of style.

Tinie Tempah, his manager and cousin have become actively involved in fashion and have their own line which is based in the United Kingdom known as Disturbing London in Selfridges, the line was launched last year in April. The brand just like him mixes high end fashion aesthetic with the urban street style which befits his profile. Tinie Tempha has also designed the popular Disturbing London X  blazers for Nike, the shoe brand. He is the first and only British rapper to ever design a blazer for the well acclaimed shoe brand Nike.
