Jewelry spotlight Myriam

Paris-bred jewelry designer Myriam ADJINAKOU established her jewelry line in 2001. Paris’s strong high fashion and sophisticated street-style culture, created a unique environment that helped shape and radically define her aesthetic vision from a very young age. At age 19 after an internship at Chanel, Rue Cambon (Paris), and after honing her techniques at the couture house of Louis Vuitton ( Paris) Myriam decided that fashion was more than just a mere hobby, but indeed a way of life. Dreams do come true if you put your mind to and work hard

Her jewelry pieces are constructed around vintage pieces collected at flea markets throughout Paris as well as eclectic elements found while traveling to Casablanca (Morocco), her dad’s homeland: Togo, Spain, Greece and the French Polynesian Islands. It combines contrasting materials like silk, precious woods, resins, shells, semi-precious stones and industrial elements to create unique hybrid pieces of jewelry. All her pieces are made by hand and are one of a kind. She also designs custom pieces. The price points range from $150 to $950. The collection will be available shortly at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and other high-end boutiques throughout the US and France.
