Let us now acknowledge its existence, together. Let us note that the ... READ MORE

Let us note that the cover story is titled “Minaj À Trois,” a play on Minaj’s last name that sexily suggests sex a three.

As women, we pride ourselves in being the queen of Balance. We do a little shopping, a little business, a little love making, a little cooking, and a little us time. What is becoming a sore popularity is how many businesswomen find themselves wanting to pursue balance yet not having fulfilled roles to do so. What do I mean?

In 2012 over 80,000 professional women where quoted as “single”. Let me just note, there is nothing wrong with being single, as long as you want to be.

However, stepping out of singlehood into a relationship can be an adjustment for any superwoman. We turned to Business and Entertainment professional, Glenda Williams for advice on how to maintain a healthy business, spiritual life and family life. Being married for over 30 years and one of the biggest Philanthropist and Producers in Georgia, we took ear to Mrs. Williams’s advice.

Having a strong, educated background and career, did you ever think that black love wasn’t for you?

GW: The challenge of being in a relationship was realizing that it was an actual partnership. I went into the relationship feeling independent where I didn’t “need” anyone. I married my husband Michael because I couldn’t be without him, not because I was co-dependent. Learning to depend on my partner was a challenge. I had to learn to submit and be vulnerable and trust him to lead me.

How did you find time for love, family and going after your goals?

Dividing time between every family member is a hard task. It’s needed to remain happy in family life. If one area is lacking, everything is off balance. And balance varies day-to-day. I learned to prioritize my scheduling and also make sure I’m giving myself the time and energy I need. Most importantly, you must be OK with change. At any given time, life can alter. Curve balls come and go but I learned not to let those moments control my emotions or my end goal.

What have you learned? What’s the best part of renewing your vows?

I have learned that love requires the highest elevation of understanding.  You and your spouse are constantly getting to know each other as time goes on.  Change is inevitable. People change and things change with time.  I’ve learned that communication and reinvestment is key within a marriage.  Most importantly, I’ve learned to give my spouse the respect of carrying out his role.  I’ve learned to let my spouse be the King while I remain his Queen.

With a vow renewal ceremony just right around the corner, Glenda Williams has mastered the art of keeping God in the center of her family, business, and relationships.

There is a noticeable difference between today’s R&B and the music of the past. Once upon a time, great vocalists like Michael, Gerald, Luther and Keith had passion in their music. They had romance. The music made love.

I ran across Sony/MEG artist Que Williams and I haven’t looked back since. Bringing a new flavor to R & B, Que adds in neo-soul, trap and eclectic tunes to his music. Because his music is so diverse, It’s impossible to put this guy in a category.

“I’m an artist who doesn’t believe in categories. I believe that music is the one thing that breaks all barriers, and has the ability to unite. This allows me to express myself freely in a creative manner without limitations.,” says Que.

With his new project, ” Split Personality”, making a buzz around Atlanta, NYC and NY, we had to get first dibs on it. Differing from the traditional R & B groove, Que’s new music brings a unique feel to the R & B scene.

“This project shows more of who I am as an artist. This time around I’m expressing myself through rap and singing. People are used to me singing so the rap side is going to shock a lot of people,” says Que.

We got the chance to sit with Que for a bit. Check his Q/A below.

How did you get your start in the music industry?

I was in a musical group called FaSho before pursing it as a solo artist.

How would you describe your personal style? How does it relate to your music?

My personal style in diverse. I can go for slink to urban and then from urban to dressy. Lucky I’m able to pull them all off. My music is as diverse as my style. diverse.

 Who influences you musically?

Definitely the greats like Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Tupac, Mase, and new school artist like Chris Brown, NeYo lyrically, Kendrick Lamar

What can we expect from you as an overall artist?

To expect the unexpected. Expect music from different genres. Also expect me to give you my best.

Where you nervous when releasing your mixtape?
Just a little nervous but very confident. This time I felt free as an artist. No genres, no categories; just music. The feedback I’ve been receiving has been great.

The Midnight Breakfast event

I think quite often, what happens in people’s minds is that ambition creates an obtainable goal. Baltimore is a tough city with talented individuals and recently I was invited to a event called The  Midnight Breakfast by Chef Andrew Frett, he’s known for creating  music, painting and now putting a spin on traditional eating. The event was invite only and was very intimate with all talented individuals that’s going somewhere in life an also could help one another achieve one another goals if one need assistance. Mid night breakfast was just the theme for this event he usally does dinner and even great barbecues in the summer, on the menu was kale salad with shrimp & homemade pancakes with some home fries that tasted like sweet potatoes. It all sounds like a weird combo but reminded be of cusine in soho NYC that’s expensive and all the top celebs are currently breaking there neck to make reservations. We all know creatives are always well dressed so I captured a few style photos as we all vibed to new Baltimore music artist Go Trag. If your looking for a new chef to make some new food because your tired of the same old traditional foods I suggest you to hunt for Mr. Frett.

In 2016 athletes have became more interesting due to seeing there day to day life on social media. I recently had the chance to interview San Franciscoso 49ers Blake Bell. The football star talked about his life style an more. Check out the full interview below

1. How would you describe your style?I have a “look good, feel good” mentality, and your sense of style describes your personality to people. I’m pretty laid back, so I usually wear casual button down with a nice pair of blue jeans.

2. How did growing up in the Midwest influence your current style?

I think it influenced me because of the style I saw my family wear. Had uncles that wore jeans and boots and had family members wear a jacket and pants. So I got to see many different looks by everyone

3. Do you ever keep up with current fashion from TV shows or magazines?

I don’t look at many magazines but you definitely see all the new styles by watching most of these TV shows now days. Whether it’s some type of reality TV show or just a series.

4. What are your favorite designers?

I like to walk around the mall and just look for things that catch my attention. The most frequent stores I go to Nordstrom, lulu lemon and Nike.

5. What’s your typical outfit on game day when you walk in/out of the locker room?

Most times going to a game I’ll just have jeans on with a button down shirt. Occasionally I will wear a suit or even a sport coat over my shirt and jeans.

Last night I was able to attend the event and it felt like Afro punk after dark. When arriving we were greeted with a live band that were playing all the classics, then taking photos with the pixilated machine. During the 4 hour festivities there was live performances from known artist around the city with a band playing there hits. The crowd was very energetic and waiting patiently to see who was best dressed male & Female. Strangers With Style presented the recipients of the 1914 Affair’s annual male, female, and couple “Best Dressed” awards. Music artist Mike star won best male while wearing a fur and cool glasses.
